2025-26 Safe and Inclusive School Plan
Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.
Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.
The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.
Key Priorities and Goals
This year we are focusing on building healthy relationships through student driven Leadership.
We are doing this to see an improvement in student well
being and overall academic achievement.
Key Actions or Strategies
Throughout the year, we will be:

1. Teaching the Seven Grandfather Teachings as part of our character development and honouring students who demonstrate these skills in bimonthly assemblies to build positive character traits throughout the building. Continuing to support more restorative approaches to progressive discipline to ensure students have access to essential learning skills needed for healthy relationship development.

2. Engaging with our community partners and families/guardians about fostering healthy relationships.

3. Acknowledging positive acts that build healthy relationship within the school community and beyond. Examples include; positive 'Post its' wall, 'Leadership Conference ' & 'WOW'

Encourage your child to express their voice while also respecting the voices of others. Report unkind acts.
